Message from the Builder
I started my business at the age of 20 approximately 40 years ago. Married for 40 years – 3 grown children and 2 grandsons.
Construction is an old fashioned business and the basic ingredients for a successful project have not changed : ~ The builder and customer must have a workable relationship – an adversarial relationship will have an adverse effect on the final product. ~ Proper workmanship and materials are essential – no one wants to do major repairs to a new structure. My houses and additions will last for many generations with only routine maintenance. ~ Constant experienced supervision of workmen and suppliers is the only way to control quality and style. ~ In order for a project to be feasible, especially today, pricing must be fair and reasonable. ~ Great layouts, proper size and scale are extremely important resale must always be considered. I do the design and plans myself. ~ The customer must be fully accessible and willing to make timely material/style choices and other project decisions. Communication must be business-like and constructive. |
~ Workable cash-flow is essential.
For 40 years, with all types of customers, these basic “rules of the road” have always resulted in superior houses and additions with extremely satisfied customers. Approximately 5 years ago, I had a customer who since the start of his project, evidentially did not agree with my reasonable and successful approach. He single handedly derailed his own project. While keeping his own name and background secret, he is spreading false information on the internet in an attempt to damage my long track record of accomplishment. It takes experience, cooperation and honesty to successfully build a dream house. I'm a very competent "hands-on" seasoned builder. Emily’s Valley is the best land that I have ever owned. I encourage you to set up an appointment to visit our model (and home). Meetings are relaxed, constructive, free and without obligation. Thanks, Paul |
